Abstract

Transition has changed a lot in Serbia, however, due to insufficient state readiness to initiate and implement such radical changes, it occurs through unwanted consequences that have become fatal, both for the state and its population. Due to its long-term and poor implementation, works that speak about the history of the "black transition" are appearing more and more in the scientific public. Therefore, this paper critically examines various problems that have led to more and more talk today about its failure. The work is of an empirical nature, primarily aimed at collecting data on the legal and social position of employees in the private sector in Kosovska Mitrovica, as well as their analysis in the transition framework. The data from the conducted research have served us as a transitional result so far, which speaks of (non) implementation of laws in this area, which is also a product of transition.
